WordPress is making having your own domain easy.
Just got the keys to my brand new WordPress template and it has so much functionality that I need you to bear with me while I get used to the controls.
I hope I don’t put it in the ditch by giving it too much gas.
Once I can maneuver around without hitting anything I will create a post to show you how easy it is to get your own website up and running with WordPress.
Did you notice all my pages are gone.

I just realized that this domain was auto renewed for 2 more years.
SO
I guess I will be sticking around for awhile after all.
Although I never wanted to admit defeat I have decided that quitting something that never really started is no shame.
I will be unsubscribing from all of the lists that I have joined and also Adlandpro and USFreeAds. I am sure it will take awhile for this to happen and then I will finally be free to think again.
I spend far too much time trying to keep up with emails and spinning my wheels trying to follow the latest trend.Since no one ever comes to this site I will be parking the domain and waiting for the domain to expire.
I would try to sell the site but I doubt anyone would want it.
One way to get started on the internet is to give away great information in exchange for an email address. The “squeeze page” is the accepted model for building your list.
I am currently working on a different approach to the accepted the “squeeze page” model and we will see how that goes in the coming weeks.
It will be similar in the fact that you will need to have something of value to give away for free. This is where I decided that the IM niche would be the best one for learning how this is done.
The most compelling reason that I can think of is all of the free information available already. These items come as videos, ebooks, audios, reports and even software.
So go poke around on your hard drive and look for .zip files. I am doing the same and I will pick a random file open it and see what we have.

I will explain how my addiction to “shiny” stuff may be redeemed.
As most of you know I get tons of email from all types of internet marketers One of the earliest people I came across was none other than the Creator of PLR, Jimmy D. Brown.
He is offering a course at http://www.imstitute.com/ProfitFromPLR/ that is all about dusting off the tons of files you have downloaded and never did anything with and creating value out of them in the way of dollars in your bank account.
How do you do this? I have no idea so I am going to sign up and find out what it is all about just like I hope the rest of you do.

My favorite part of this new enterprise is looking at the “competition’s” website’s. This is where I go to find out if they will let me leave a comment. This seems to work if the website you enter links back to one that is relative to the subject. Keeping your comment relative also helps and when appropriate, a thank you for the information. Sites that don’t have a place for a website I pass over.
If you link back to a site with little or no content and even worse, just ads, then you will probably not only not be approved but possibly hurting yourself. Or least that is what appears to be happening.
I believe this because I don’t always get my comments approved and when I did get one approved I also got an email saying that my site had so much content that he wanted to know if I would let him use some on his site. I thought that was something to keep in mind going forward.
My hope is that by having sites with lots of content on them and as specific to one subject as possible that they will start getting visitors and after that sales. I also like the idea of having passive contact forms for collecting email addresses. Everyone says that this will not work and that you need to be more agressive at collecting email addresses for your list.
As you can see by my long url and blatant selling methods that I am not following the great advice I have found out here. For example have you seen the commercial for Overstock.com? They will now be able to be found at O.co. Doesn’t get much shorter than that.
So for right now I am working on my writing skills so that I can have sites with lots of content. I guess only time will tell if this will work or not and it does take a little more work than probably necessary. I am doing this with an end in mind that I can only reveal once I am ready to move to the next phase.
In the meantime I don’t see a problem with sharing one of my blogs that I am using to load up with content and then some of the odd ways I use to promote it.

I am starting to post what I am learning about making money online and all that it entails. Two forces collided that made it both easier and more difficult to make money online. The first force was the affordability of getting on the internet. The second force was the economic collapse that is still having it’s effect felt throughout the world. So while it is much cheaper to get on the net it is also more crowded as people rush to get a piece of the action and get out of debt and have some “me” money for once.
To that end I present a free site that will help you get started and then when you have made a few quid you can upgrade and start making some serious dough. I am an affiliate so I make a commission if you upgrade after clicking through my site and provided the cookie does not get lost.
Recently I joined a free membership site called Killer Preseller. The site provides free landing page templates that you can use to promote specific ClickBank products.
Why use landing pages?
One of the biggest mistakes newbie affiliates make is linking directly to an affiliate merchant’s website without creating their own landing page. By doing so you allow your page to rank in the search engines for valuable keywords that would otherwise not be possible through direct linking.
Not only that but when it comes to advertising through pay-per-click, Google will see that your site is highly relevant and will reward you with low cost-per-clicks and a high quality score allowing you to get the most out of your clicks!

What makes a good landing page?
A good landing page needs to flow nicely and not scream ‘buy me’ like a sales page does. But at the same time it must pre-sell the visitor for the offer ahead, and get them off your landing page. However, if you choose to follow their instructions and promote your landing page through article submissions, software submissions, press-releases social networking, social bookmarking, forums and more then it becomes worth your time.
Most affiliate products pay 75% commission and include up-sells in their sales funnel. One of the Elite templates that I got hold of promotes a Forex product and the 3 sales from this morning have already earned me $268 in commissions!
